Welcome To Ruislip Bowls Club
Our aim is to enjoy the game of bowls in a warm, friendly and informal atmosphere. Both Experienced bowlers and Beginners are most welcome to join the club.
We cater for the competitive bowlers who wish to take part in Club or League competitions or in matches against other clubs. We also aim to provide for the members wishing to do more ‘social’ bowling. Men and Women are both welcome.
We offer an excellent Training programme with experienced, trained coaches. ‘Top up Training’ is also offered to all playing members.
Bowls is a sport which can be played at almost any age – our members range from forty year olds to 90+! It is a sport which will enhance both physical and mental wellbeing.
Well situated:
Ruislip Bowls Club is fortunate to have a lovely setting - on the historic site where the Library, Winston Churchill Hall and the old Manor House are situated.
Our Green is well maintained and one of the best in the area. There is a handy car park adjacent.
Established over 100 years ago, Ruislip Bowls Club continues to attract new members, who enjoy a range of extra activities during the playing season (end of April to end of September): we have Drives, Gala Day, barbecues, fish and chip events, Charity Day, quizzes. All are well supported by members.
Club - Summer Lawn Bowls Activities
As a club member on most weekdays, the mornings are dedicated to Club Competitions, Coaching sessions and member practice. In the afternoon the Club has a roll-up session. members come along and just join in, no need to book in advance, no need to find someone to partner with. The cost for the roll-up is £1, which includes tea and biscuits in the break. It is an excellent way to meet other members.
Club - League and Friendly Matches and internal Competitions
We play other clubs in the area as we take part in the Harrow and District matches, the Chiltern League, the Bidgood League and the Vets League. We also participate in a few ladies-only matches.
The Club offers a range of internal Club Competitions for members once their initial year has been completed.
Winter Activities in the Clubhouse:
We have a range of Winter activities available to all members: Short Mat Bowling, Kurling, New Age Bowling, as well as Bingo afternoons, Film Evenings, weekly Bridge Club and Rummikub mornings. And of course, a Christmas party!

RUISLIP BOWLS CLUB
1919 – Present
Located at the Manor Farm Heritage Site within excellent surroundings and close to Ruislip High Street it is an ideal location. The green and clubhouse are shared with our sister club the Mill Bowling Club who on weekdays use the facilities after 1700 hrs. However there are occasions, mostly at weekends, when Ruislip Bowls Club extends its use of the facilities into the evening for club events such as barbecues, quizzes, fish and chips. New members are always welcome, and those that are new to the game have the benefit of being coached by one of our qualified coaches.
